Thanksgiving Open Dinner
Saturday 10 October 2026 · 3:00 PM
Our doors are open. We are cooking a Thanksgiving dinner and setting a long table, and the only thing we need from you is that you turn up. Come on your own, come with your family, or bring someone who would otherwise be eating alone that day.
There is no charge, no collection and nothing you need to bring. If you would rather sit quietly and eat, that is completely fine. If you want someone to talk or pray with, there will be people glad to do that too.

Let’s Break Bread
Whenever suits you · Wherever you are
This one runs the other way round: you invite us, and we come to you. We arrive with a meal, an encouraging word from the Bible and good company, at a time and place you choose — your home, a dorm, a shelter, a hospital room or a park bench.
Nothing to cook, nothing to tidy, nothing to pay. It takes about an hour, and there is nothing to sign up to afterwards.
They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.Acts 2:46
- Not sure where dinner is coming from
- Far from home, or new to Canada
- Stuck in a hospital bed
- Someone you love is inside, or just home
- Or you just want good company — that is reason enough
